DURR
I have come to understand that the Gardiners are not necessarily the most intelligent people we know. They seem to think that Darcy has feelings of love for Elizabeth. Obviously if he proposed to her he might just love her a little bit. Its not often that men go proposing to women that they don't actually have feelings for. I would certainly be astonished to find out if he was anything but in love with her.

You are unromantic, you love mother and you proposed to her. He cares very much for her I just know it. There is not much that I could say in his defense; however from what I have heard from Lizzie I have a good idea. You must give him a chance to show you and her just how much he does love her.
ReplyDeleteIf I may object, some marriages do not consist of love. Fo example, Mr. Collins's is a marriage based on reason not love. Those two might eventually come to love each other but not yet. So, when you insult the Gardiner family, I suggest you should have a real problem. If not you may look like a fool.
ReplyDeleteDo not frown upon the unintelligent. Let them be, they gave you valuble information that you otherwise could not have figured out so, they are obviously not so useless. Also I belive that if the proposal does happen it will be for love and it might happen sooner then you think.
