London
I am off to London to try and find what is now becoming my least favorite daughter. What a stupid little girl! I thought Lizzie was bad before, but this is awful. It will ruin the entire reputation of the Bennets, or whats left of it. She has no idea how this will affect her and her sisters. But I should never have let her go to Brighton in the first place. And when I find this man, the things i will do....

Mr. Bennet, do not worry. I will go and have a talk with Mr. Wickham. Beware, the chances of him having true feelings for your daughter are slim. He is after your money, so make an effort not to give it to him. I am so sorry Lydia had to fall victim to this.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry to hear of your thoughts of lydia. I, unlike you, appreciate the young Bennet. Though the man might not be the best for her, at least she is getting married. She should be your favorite daughter!
ReplyDeleteYou should not put the blame of this unfortunate event on anyone but yourself and your wife, Mr. Bennet. This is nothing but a result of poor parenting. With a little discipline and sense a governess could have provided in your daughters lives, this would not have happened.
ReplyDeleteFather! Show that man everything he deserves. I feel remorse for any women he has encountered. Even myself for not believing Darcy when I should have most. Find them both and tell Lydia what awful man he really is. Our family is ruined, and so am I.
